Kitty Proofing
We are getting ready to take a quick trip to see my folks. I am unable to find someone who is comfortable enough to handle the ferals while I am gone.
Thankfully, with the enclosure, they have plenty of running room and places to hide if they are scared. I will put the feral feeders out in the enclosure, leave plenty of water in the fountains and upstairs and make sure all the litterpans are down. We hope to only be gone 24 hours if that. I do have a friend that will come in if we get stuck in a storm, or worse. But, I have a feeling she hopes that this will not happen. She will be feeding the horses- HA! Who would have thought that two full-grown horses would be less work than 16 cats.
My greatest fear is that if someone does come over, the cats might get out. So this way is safest.
I have cleared off all countertops, and tables and shelves. My house is now very Feng Shui the only things left out are the cat fountains and the food bowls, so yes, very Feng Shui.
It will be nice to get away even just for a quick trip. With everything else going on now, this is really good timing. Hopefully by the time I get home, everything will be right again in cyber space-
