Lap Dog Update
Today is day 19 since Chloe came to live with us. She is still running laps around our chairs, just not as many and not so often. She will now nose Mike’s hand when he calls to her, but she won’t let him catch her yet. I have to laugh when I see her racing across the pasture with Lei hot at her heels. Chloe is quick and can outmanuever Lei in grand style. She now goes to her bed without being led each night and waits patiently for her treat. I wish I could stop the mad dash outside everytime I open the back door, but when I try and put her at a sit command, she just gets nervous and acts like I just beat her, so we are still working the kinks out of that manuever.
Buzzy is now in the shop. He has a nice warm spot to sleep, a pet fountain, food and really all the comforts of home. I am not sure why the group didn’t accept him? They accepted Cole quick enough, but Cole is very submissive and Buzz is alpha to the maximum.
