Prowler update
After a rocky few days, it has been decided to withdraw from any further testing for this beautiful cat and just see what happens. No answers are really forthcoming about what is wrong. The pee meter is stuck again, the appetitie is decreasing and Prowl isn’t doing well. She didn’t even show interest in a mouse and she is one of my hardiest hunters.
I have several feelers out over the Internet picking the brain of cat experts, but for now, especially after yesterday. No more vet visits, tests or invasive exams. Now, it is truly up to God.

She couldn’t have a bone stuck in her throat, right? I know you’ve probably checked it out, since you’re more involved with cats than I am, but I just had to mention it in case you hadn’t. We had a cat that was slowly starving and we couldn’t figure out what it was and the vet couldn’t either, and it turned out to be some kind of obstruction in the throat. My mom started to give her milk with a little oil mixed in and one day she hacked up a piece of bone.
Your kitty is in my thoughts. I will shoot off a little prayer for her.

And was it a definite “NO” on the pancreaitis? One of my cats, Hector, who is no longer alive, once had pancreaitis and it took a long time to find what was wrong. He eventually got well, with medicine.
Oh, I do hope she will get better. Give her a hug from me.

She is slowly getting better. There is litter pan action now and she is eating. Now, I need to get her on one solid food rather than a bunch of different things. She is now only confined for meals and meds then she is let out in with the rest of the group.
