Today while I was grocery shopping, I was thumped from behind by someone. I turned around and this lady was staring at me with a big smile on her face. I asked her what she wanted and she said “Don’t you remember me?” I didn’t and told her so. Turns out that she adopted this lovely kitty Champagne from me several years ago. She wanted to give me an update. He is doing well, has grown into a well-socialized happy, healthy beige and white male cat and is the pride of her life.

I wondered how she recognized me, then I realized I had my adopt-a-kitty shirt on. I wear these during the warmer months, they advertise that I have cats and kittens up for adoption and it gives my phone number. I didn’t remember her right off, but she recognized the shirt!
