Here is one of the newest arrivals. They were calling her JuJu but I changed her name – she is a sweet kitty full of mischief at times and she is with all the others. The only one she has issues with is Fog. I think he has a crush on her, she can’t be bothered. She has found the bed to be her liking and at night sleeps on my shoulder. In the day time, she is often found sleeping with Mike on his lap. She was acting out due to a HUGE load of worms in her belly- once they were gone, she calmed down a lot.
What a surprise! She’s a black kitty! LOL

I like how many black cats have tinges of other colours in their fur. My Renn is black and white but some of the black (though not all) is reddish in certain light. I once saw two black cats lying together on a bed in sunshine. I thought both were pure black, but one was reddish-black and the other bluish-black.
Whisper is a much better name for this one than JuJu. She must have felt pretty rough with all those worms. It’s a good thing you had her checked out. It doesn’t take much sometimes to help an animal – or person, for that matter: just a little consideration.
Whisper is beautiful.. she reminds me of my cat Elvira:)

We love black cats. Mine Mommy waited almost all her life to get a black cat — Sol. He is blue black.
Whisper suits her more than JuJu, it’s a pretty, feminine name.
