Rescue Out

A local rescuer who has been rescuing for more years than I can remember is closing up shop. She called me with an offer, she has 6 leftover for this year, spay and neuter certificates for $20.00 apiece if I want them. I do- but Cyclone and the kittens have stretched my budget out of wack and I can’t get them now. Her husband is extremely ill and they are moving, so it is a short-term offer. I am hoping someone reading this might wish to help me. I have the four hartz kitties to get done by the end of the year.

Thanks for any help

  1. Just send a bit your way via paypal. Cyclone reminded me of my big orange guy over here. We’re TNRing our own small corner of CA and I know it’s hard & expensive work. Best wishes on your next s/nip

  2. hope that you have the funds to get all of the certs. Bless you for all you do and the fur babies that come your way.

  3. Is there a way you can advertise the retiring rescuer’s situation? Maybe on the Cat Blogosphere site or another? Maybe she can do some of that herself, if there’s a site on the internet or some other medium that she knows.

  4. She has made plans already for the cats under her care as her husband has been failing for quite awhile. I will take three of her kittens in about a week.

Becasue of Al’s issues, she knew this was coming and only has a few more cats to place. She has several outdoor ferals but her neighbor told her they would feed the boys and see to their needs. Thankfully, she is an ethical rescuer and not a hoarder.
