Second, there is an increasingly large number of feral cats that have made their home in my backyard. Most seem fairly healthy, and they are all feed on a daily basis by our family. If you could take some time out of your schedule I would love to ask you some questions. A number of the kittens have a VERY severe illness resulting in a lot of gunk around the eyes. We try and keep them clean with warm water, but this obviously isn't going to fix the problem. We don't have the money to take the kittens to the vet for treatment, and I doubt they would do well at the humane society (only one of the kittens is friendly enough to tolerate people, the others are extremely frightened). If you have any information on how we could get help for them with little to no cost to us, my e-mail is kill3rsarequietx@aol.com I'm really hoping to hear back from you with some advice, I feel terrible letting them live like that but I don't think they deserve to be euthanized unless every effort has been made to help them.
