Daws was 3 months old- she died from feline distemper tests later showed. They dehydrate quickly which throws their body into shock and they basically die from shock. Once they are infected, it is quite a battle to get them to recover when they are just small kittens. Older cats stand a better chance.

How old was Dawson? As far as I know they do that before they die. They hide, won't eat nor meow. And they scream in pain when the morning chills set in... That's what happened to mine. I found her dead the next morning.
