  1. What certifications do you have for emergency kitty care? I’m looking to go into feline shelter/rescue, but vet school is a biiit too pricey.

  2. Life is really my certification. When I began this too many years ago, no help available for neonatal kittens or preemies. Read all the care books I could, volunteered with a feral cat vet in Alaska. Strongly recommend you pick up Kittens for Dummies by my friend Dusty Rainbolt. Cat Owner’s Home Veterinary Handbook Third Edition is another good one to have on hand. Suggest you volunteer with a local vet, rescue group or shelter. Know you can’t save them all but you will do all you can to help the few.
    Best of luck!
