This morning, I went to check my traps and found to my surprise three baby kittens in one trap! They are about 8 weeks old- pure black (of course) One is so cute though, she has white hairs running the length of her back so she looks like a baby skunk! Every time she sees me (they are in the bedroom with Delilah who is paying them no heed) this little one jumps up in the air and goes “fftt…fftt!” Hee hee. They are safe, they are warm, they are eating and we just put back our screen doors that connect the kitchen to the hallway so they can have the bedroom and the upstairs to run around in.
Their hunger must have drove them into the trap all three of them (I don’t see any more kittens running about) and the combined weight of all of them on the trigger must have sprung the trap.
Wow that is great that you were able to get three at one time – now those little babies will have a good chance in life! And the little baby with the skunk furs just sounds so cute. We are sending over lots of purrs and prayers for them to be healthy babies too!
The world can always use more black kittens.

I looked out the window early this evening – checking to see if the cats had been by to eat their food and if I could go pick it up. I thought – oh no a new one – but how CUTE it looks like a skunk! Well, it was a skunk. Of course I was relieved it wasn’t another cat. I’m sorry to hear you’ve got three more kitties – one of them that isn’t a skunk LOL. It just never ends. You are one very special lady, that much I know.
We’re glad they’re safe and OK! Good noos.
Sorry we haven’t visited for a while, we had grandbeans staying for a vacation. It’s been happy chaos!
