Careful Choices

It has been decided that first off the vet will run a fecal on the cyclone and let me know if the results hold answers. Since this is just a basic test if he doesn’t improve then there is a second fecal to run that is a bit more costly.

Should that test fall short of delivering answers and the diarrhea and malaise continue, we will do blood work on the Cyclone to get a baseline and to hopefully have answers quicker.

I thought I was being smart as I was out of dried beans (to use as a substitue cat litter for the poop sample) so I used uncooked rice. BAD idea- rice soaks up moisture (DUH MA!) so it is back to square one with the beans until Cyclone has another bout of diarrhea. I am currently making so many visits to my vet that they need to install a revolving door or give me my own parking space! LOL

  1. Still, uncooked rice as litter when one actually wants it to soak up moisture sounds like a good idea. Unless cats like eating rice…
