Well, the ol gent’s eye has flared up again so we have an appointment to take him tomorrow afternoon. It never completely healed and then almost in a minute has flared up again. Poor kitty-

This comment is related to an earlier post about “Google”. You had written you had consulted with a couple of specialists and they had mentioned a new probiotic being available and it began with S. Could the name have been Synacore? It is made by Van Beek Natural Science and appears to be more than just a probiotic. Now I just have to see if my vet has heard of it and find out if it is available in Canada.
Yes, it is Synacore and it seems to work for her better than anything else we tried. If she gets into the other cats’ food, we have issues, but eating the low-residue diet with the powder sprinkled on it- she does just fine and that offensive odor she carried is finally gone.
Purrrrring for Cyclone. Eye problems have gotta be some of the worst, cause they foul up everything else you try to do.
