Cagney is home

They have done everything they can for her and now it is my turn to give her sub-cu’s supportive care and TLC and just pray that God will allow her more time with us. They have no clue what is going on- chalking it up to a “mystery illness” but as you can see by the photo, she is now eating on her own- but my goodness, she looks so hammered. 🙁

  1. She is such a beautiful girl! I too am so glad she is home! Yes, we’ll take a miracle as well! She certainly deserves one!

  2. Ah, yes. The dread Fever of Unknown Origin. Which we guess sounds better than “Beat the heck out of me” when you’re a V*T.

Purrrrrrrss to Cagney, and a headbump for Mary Anne. Hang in there, both of you.

  3. They use the fever of unknown origin as freely as they use the phrase “It’s FIP!” I still have two cats who at 3 months old also came down seriously ill. I was told it was FIP and I should put them both down (they are sisters) I said No and brought them home. They are now 3 years old and doing fine!
