Vet believes it might just be a stubborn strain of the calicivirus so she has been put on new meds that will hopefully calm things down. I am also putting her on some OTC allergy meds to try and dry up her sniffles. Just hope it works!

Our shelter’s vet gives us Inteferon in an IV solution to give orally for calicivirus. The cats don’t love it, but it does seem to help. They also get 250 mg of L-lysine daily and 500 mg if they have symptoms.
I hope this works for Cagney. She’s been through a lot.
