I just learned that Karen wants me to take three more feral cats and I am just shaking my head in disbelief after all that she has said about our rescue. But- as I told her, I don’t do this for her, I do this for the cats. She’s telling me that I can simply just “throw the three into the enclosure with the other cats” (which ain’t happenin folks) because YOU are savvy enough to know that if cats are apart for any length of time, you can’t just “throw them” back together and not have major confrontations.
So my only option is to accelerate my last final project of turning our old jacuzzi deck into yet another cat enclosure and putting the final three there. It will cost us about $485.00 to do this- the framework is there, so we have to patch the roof and put up boards and insulation and get these cats away from this woman. I did tell her that the ONLY way I am going to take them is she has to sign the release form right now along with an Absolve Claim. She is not welcome on our property so she has to drop the cats off at another rescuer’s home and I will go and get them after she leaves and the paperwork is signed. I told her if she doesn’t sign the paperwork- it’s a no go for anything to happen. She’s agreed to all terms. She only has about 12 days left before she is evicted and she still has no place to go.

Please if you can send anything- it will all help. I have 42 hours to make this happen or risk losing these cats. She’s already had two in the same carrier for a week. I want those as soon as possible. She is trying to trap the third.

I sent you a small amount last night, but anything more will have to wait at least a week, I’m afraid. I’ll see what I can get then.
The good part of this is that you will have an assurance that she won’t be trying to get the cats back – or at least will fail if she attempts it.
That woman just seems unwilling to accept what is happening around her. Do you know, are these three the last three of the senior ten from back when this show started way back when?

Sending super purrrrayers that God will work his magic and you get all that you need to get those kitties, 2 in a carrier may be ok for a quick trip to the vet but certainly not for a week, OMG! my heart is breaking for them.
