Please pray for Muggles

Her fever is back with a vengeance and we are in a wait-and-see mode now. Her fever is currently 105.6 degrees F which is bake the brain cell zone and no real answers as to what is going on.  She is getting fluids, alcohol rubdowns and lots of love, but no return trip to the vet. Sometimes, you just have to admit defeat and they haven’t been able to pin down why these fevers happen. They just term them “fever of unknown origin.” My hope is she is still alive in the morning. 🙁 She is rigid to the touch and when I pet her, she has tremors going up and down her spine. But she pulls out her claws when she is confined to a cage at the vet and just the stress for this trip there could kill her. We have decided to let go and let God and hope God sees fit for her to spend more time here on earth instead of calling her home.

  1. If the veterinarian can’t suggest anything positive, don’t waste Muggles’s time or your money there. Muggles is getting the best care right now with you. Good luck to the little girl.

  2. oh no, poor little thing, I do hope and pray she is ok, but like John said, she is at the best place to get the best care.

  3. She is at peace now, she died an hour ago. I suspected it was FIP she was suffering with. My feline specialist told me that often times when a cat goes through a traumatic event (such as she did) that it can trigger FIP. They do not know why, but it seems to be a common thread they have found over this puzzling and frustrating disease. She was suffering so much- temp 105.9 for the longest time, that I didn’t see the sense in prolonging her suffering any longer and took her into my vet this morning as a drop-off and asked them to put her down. They told me her fever is down, and I know this, the fever DOES go down, but then it comes back worse than ever and she has to suffer while they sit here and try to figure out what is going on. I’m over it- she is worth so much more than turning into a lab rat. She is now running the fields of heaven with her friends who went before her-

  4. oh my gosh, I am so sad about this but glad you made that decision, never an easy one. be at peace Little angel, look up my Bob he will love to play with you. Sending healing prayers to you Mary Anne
