Mr. Tyler is on his way to his forever home!

We didn’t visit long but Greg and Dawn were simply delightful and I know that once Toby decompresses (yet again) he will be a wonderful addition to this couple’s relationship. I will miss him and yes, tears were shed once he started down the road.

I put Jet_Eye back into the enclosure. He is having so  much problem catching his breath and is a whirling dervish in the house with the other cats. I don’t like that he has to be by himself but until I can find the right home for him- that’s how it is going to be.

I just got these photos of Toby in his new home. They are going to keep his name and he didn’t even hide from them!

And so to the girl who tried to prevent me from taking him- I say to you that he was not your cat. He was a stray and now he is a loved, and pampered pet who will live a long, wonderful life with the person who originally called me about him and worried about him even after you drove her away. And that is my final say about that.

And to Toby-Thank you Toby Tyler for blessing our lives and enriching our days. I will miss you and the tears coming down my face are tears of joy. No more scrambling to survive outside in the elements. Through these photos, sweet kitty,  you are showing everyone: Toby Tyler is King-

  1. In the last 20 years we have rescued many wild and feral kitties. Out of the ones we found homes for it was wonderful to find them a lifetime good home. Out of 30 kitties only a few had the horrible life of staying with us.. I was so blessed in sharing in these critters life. They lived their lives out here with a good house, love and medical. It’s funny how special these little critters are and how much love they can give to you. It’s great to see Toby in his new home just hanging out. Good luck and God Bless!

  2. Toby looks very relaxed in that second picture. He may have been moved around a bit in the last week or so, but both of his new places were far better than trying to survive outside, and he knew it. He was grateful to be with you and will be grateful to be in his new, and permanent, home. No more surviving for Toby – from now on, he’ll be living!

  3. It’s funny how you can be sad and happy at the same time. Toby is such a sweet little guy and is very blessed. That second picture makes him look very regal. How wonderful for him. Toby I hope you find your very own sunbeam to lounge in. To your new human(s) thank you for not only contacting Mary Anne about this sweet ginger but giving him a home. For the girl who tried to prevent this from happening, God saw what you did! Best wishes Toby!
