We are on our last bag

I am praying that this week’s donation will bring us more than just cat litter. We are on our last bag of dry food right now- which will last throughout the month so there is still time. It’s scary to us being so close to running out of food. I can’t go out and get a job because I have to take care of Mike, and if I did have a job right now, I would have an unhappy boss because walking, driving, lifting, sitting is so torturous for me. It is going to drop into the 20’s tonight so have fed wet food early enough that the cats will eat it before it freezes. Who will be out of luck there are the late nighters who don’t come in until about 2-4 a.m. By then, the food will be frozen to the plate.

  1. I was wondering if you had a Facebook page about your rescue? I see so many that run on donations alone on Facebook. I think you could reach more people by having a FB page. I wish I could send something but I struggle trying to feed my feral cats. I pray for you and all the kitties, I hope things turn around and you start getting donations again.

  2. Julie I do, but half the time it doesn’t even work. I have tried for months to get FB to help me figure out the glitch in there. Finally just gave up.

  3. I found your fb page, did a like, and posted a note there to get it “active”. Last post from you on there seems to be in 2014. I shared it on my timeline with the note that you need dry and canned cat food donations, and have an amazon wish list page. I hope you can get the fb page active, it might be an active avenue for you.

  4. Just sent you a 6 pack of Cat Chow from your Amazon list. Should be delivered March 15-19. Hope it helps. I do agree that getting you active on Facebook again would be useful for donations. Wish I knew more about how to get it going. Hugs to you and scritches to all the kitties!

  5. Anything that doesn’t contain the colored dyes works. They stopped eating the colored stuff several months ago so we try to get the all brown kibble- the friskies, kitnkaboodle, meow mix etc just sits in the dish until the turkeys come in and eat it. Never in our rescue history have we encountered this type of food aversion for so long. Even mixing the two doesn’t work which makes me wonder what is really in all that colored dye?

  6. Hope you don’t mind, this is wet food, not on your list. Good quality, stinky salmon with no crap added. Will arrive on Tuesday the 13th.
