She’s warming up a bit

She still looks at me like I am going to pop her back into a carrier, but at least she rises up to greet me when I go into the room. It’s going to take a few days for her to forgive me, but at least she is starting the process.

Per the vet, I’ve stopped the clavamox for now because her sneezing is getting more frequent. We are trying Baytril right now to see if that will work.

I’m such a slob, I don’t want to go to work tonight, I want to stay home and love on her. I guess, I am really a sap.

  1. Oh God, I am so glad you stopped Clavamox – I am biased with that one after Bugsy got a forever going diarrhea – well, you know the story, started in October (on his first dose for a UTI), and I am still dealing with it! Can you say T-R-A-U-M-A!!! Hope Baytril works!!!
She will forgive you MA! of course she will!
My little Hope, ex-semi-feral, or should I say reformed feral LOL is the same way… She takes the longest time to forget her traumas. Very skittish that little one! I am working on the trauma of “bagging” her for a vaseline dose a few days ago, and little does she know she will have another one tonight! (the massive Thunderstorms we had last night didn’t help at all!). Can’t wait for the next update… I love coming here and visiting you – Shell is my girl!
Love, purrrrsss, from all of us!

  2. Keep getting better Shell, you are in our thoughts and purrayers!!

  3. MA, you’re not a sap! Well, not any more of a sap than the rest of us because I know that a whole lot of us would like to stay at your home and love on Shell all day too!!

  4. Oh she will forgive you – she wants you to stay home and love on her too as your “punishment”. And who would NOT want to stay home and love on her?
