Loving home located

The three black kittens were placed into a forever home yesterday and I couldn’t be more pleased. The couple who took them are elderly and quite loving. I questioned their sanity on taking not just one kitten but three- but they insisted this is what they wanted. They love black kitties and I don’t usually let un-neutered cats leave here, but their vet is also mine and he speaks highly of them. They have other cats (barn cats) that are all neutered and they just really wanted young kittens to bond with. The wife is going through some real medical issues right now and they couldn’t get any of their barn cats indoors to help comfort her.

The house is beautiful there are young adult children living there with the parents and I know the kittens will be well taken care of for the rest of their lives.

I am also taking the plunge and filing for my non-profit status with the state. I found a cat-loving attorney who will handle all the paperwork and after my fiasco with PayPal (don’t ask!) this must be the next step for me, because only the Lord could have made what happened yesterday happen.

  1. Great noos! Purrrrrss for the three kittehs, and purrrrayers for the adoptors. We hope their medical problems fade, and soon.

PS: There are other options to PayPal, although none of us can speak as to how well (or even if) they serve as alternatives. You are not the first people to have problems with PayPal’s some what arbitrary service.

  2. I have kinda fallen off the edge of the internet world for a while… only to come back and find out that Shell didn’t make it. My purrs and tears are with you.

I noticed an item that has had no bids on it… the Native American Necklace. Can I still purchase that, do you know?

    Purrz n stuff.
P.S. I have 7 foster cats right now besides my three. Six are from the same litter, but the mother cat brought us three at a time, so two are still very shy and one is a bit feralicious, except with me. They are now a little over a year old. Any advice on finding these forever homes would be wonderful.

  3. You just have to be patient and work with the kittens not against them. They are bonded to you because you did save them and they trust you. The bond is always gradual not ever immediate and so future adopters need to know that the kitty will hide for up to two-three weeks in put into a new situation.
