Charles called last night and said that they decided to only keep one kitten and could I please come and get the other ones.
So Emerson and Chandler are back in the bedroom with Delilah and she is mothering them like I have never seen her do before. I think she missed the pipsqueaks!
Did they just decide that 3 were too much work? It’s too bad.
By the way, I think I saw in one of your responses to someone a while back that you weren’t working anymore, and would be getting out of the cat rescue business. Is that true? And if it is, is your plan to find homes for your remaining cats and to refuse to take more cats in?
Better a home for one than a home for none. You had mentioned that this couple was older, perhaps they underestimated their ability to deal with three energetic kittens….
We’re waiting for a couple to come and see our “special needs” cat. Certainly hope they’re up to the challenge!
